Branding
Brand identity and website design for State College Friends School.
Problem
State College Friends School needed a website that balanced professionalism with warmth while effectively communicating their Quaker educational values to prospective families. Their existing online presence didn't reflect the joyful learning environment they provide, and they needed intuitive navigation and flexible content areas to accommodate their evolving brand.
Solution
I designed a clean, welcoming website centered around accessibility and community. Key features included simple navigation with clear visual hierarchy, strategic content placement with quick links and announcements positioned high on the homepage, dynamic photo integration showcasing student life, and modular sections for news, calendars, and important updates. The design uses a nature-inspired warm color palette, thoughtful typography, and strategic white space to create a professional yet approachable feel that authentically represents the school's character while guiding both current and prospective families.
